Mermaid Box

This is the second box for the Bathing Beauty show, it's the "Mermaid Box". I used the mermaid tail & renaissance head stamps from MadRatRubber. The wave stamp is the same one used on the other box. I stamped the figures on masonite then cut them out with my scrollsaw. The figure in the frame is actually floating on the painted background. The blue wavy texture is corregated paper. I have a stamp from 100 proof press that would create a similar pattern on polmer clay but the paper works great. The fish are attached by nails so they do move a little when the box is moved..
